Aims & objectives

REAct training course aim was to increase awareness about human rights violations in general and key group populations. Participants learned more about human rights in general and they had an opportunity to work on several cases by themselves. Also, REAct aimed to empower youth to take any action while facing human rights violations, be able to speak up. The training module covered several main topics - discrimination, stigma, Human rights violations for vulnerable groups.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

20 participants from three countries -Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia took part in the training.

Training methods used & main activities

We used interactive non-formal education methods for fighting stereotypes. A lot of team building, group dynamics, role plays, and tolerance building sessions were used as well.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

During conducting the training course - REAct I was responsible for facilitating specific sessions during the training and also conducting training modules about discrimination.

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
