Aims & objectives

The purpose of the training was:
- To improve your performance in communication and create flow in cooperation.
- To improve communication skills and key competences in order to improve the quality of direct, group-based and individual youth work and local-level networking in a multicultural and cross-sectoral context.
- To give space, provide information and encouragement to actions and project ideas to be realised in the Erasmus+ Programme.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Team: 4 Trainers + 2 support staff (Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia)

24 Participants from Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Armenia, Georgia and Jordan.

Training methods used & main activities

- Short interactive presentations
- Facilitated discussions and brainstorming in plenary and in small groups
- Facilitated reflection groups to monitor and support the individual learning
- Activities in mixed nationality groups, couples, trios and individually followed by a debriefing
- Icebreakers, games and role play
- Artistic expression
- Group work with dance, music and sport exercises
- Rotation workshops
- Individual reflection
- Facilitated group reflection and evaluation

Outcomes of the activity

Participants got to know communication tools and techniques useful in NGOs and youth work, increased their competences in working in international teams with the use of communication skills, styles & tools and improved their cross-sectorial communication skills to enhance networking and recognition of their youth NGOs.
