Project Lab E+ results from the transnational Strategic Partnership on Inclusion between the national agencies from Belgium (FR), Estonia, Portugal, Romania and Slovenia, with the aim to contribute to the implementation of the Erasmus+ Inclusion and Diversity Strategy in the field of Youth.
Project Lab E+ objectives were:
- To increase participation of young people and organisations from disadvantaged areas in the Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme;
- To encourage and support the strategic use of Erasmus+ as a tool for inclusion & capacity building of organisations;
- To increase the capacity of organisations for international youth work;
- To support establishment of long-term quality partnerships;
- To gather and promote results & good practices on national and transnational level.
The team was composed by the 3 facilitators Andrei Popescu (RO), Henk Persyn (SLO) and Sara Serrão (PT), with Jerneja Domajnko (SLO) as job shadower and the support of Maja Drobne from the Slovene NA. The group had 40 participants coming from Slovenia, Estonia, Belgium, Romania and Portugal, working with youth in disadvantaged areas and new-comers to E+ program.
The event developed around the needs of the participants, through an open and interactive process based on Non Formal education principles. Activities focused on sharing and learning from one another in an environment based on interaction, discussion and workshops. The facilitators role was to create the right framework and offer the necessary support.
The activity achieved it objectives and resulted in the creation of project ideas, with international partners and aimed at including youth from the disadvantaged areas. Support materials and project tools were created by trainers and are an outcome of the event.
I have been a full-time trainer during the Project Lab E+ event and have prepared graphic material, such as the Project Lab E+ Booklet.
