Aims & objectives

Pot of interculturality” TC was organised in the frame of Action 4.3 of Youth in Action Programme. The training was aiming to help participants develop their intercultural competence by raising awareness on such issues as: multiply identities, notion of culture, dimensions of culture, stereotypes, prejudices and discrimination as well as basics of conflict management (including Marshall Rosenberg method of non-violence communication).

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Group consisted of 24 participants from 5 diifferent countries: Estonia, Italy, Romania, Poland and Turkey.

Training methods used & main activities

All training was based on principles and methods of non-formal education and included simulation games, group discussions, creative presentations, word-cafe as well as artistic methods.

Outcomes of the activity

Due to the participation in the training course participants developed their intercultural competence by raising awareness on such issues as: multiply identities, notion of culture, dimensions of culture, stereotypes, prejudices and discrimination.They learned also the basics of conflict management (including Marshall Rosenberg method of non-violence communication).

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was one of two trainers preparing, leading and evaluating this training course.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
