“PM: Project Management Training for Youth Workers"

Aims & objectives

The aim was to enhance competences of management staff of youth NGOs in project management and to get to know the youth context in different parts of Europe. As a result, the cooperation between youth NGOs from the East and West of Europe was strengthened in order to develop local capacities for inclusive and participatory youth work and to respond specifically to the development tasks in EECA region in the youth sector.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Target group: 26 staff of youth NGOs coming from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Germany, Georgia, Italy, Spain, Turkey and Ucraina.

Training methods used & main activities

The training was based on Non-Formal education approach such as group work, role plays, exercises and trainee-led workshops.

Outcomes of the activity

The participants improved their soft skills in intercultural team work and communication, decision-making, their competences in project management and their understanding for the challenges young people face in Europe.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was a full time-trainer in team with Sebastian Schweitzer from Germany.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
