TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

The International Training course "Our Europe - Access to Social and Economic Rights for All: Youth, volunteering for social inclusion of people with disabilities in Europe" aimed at exploring the role of youth volunteering as a support measure for social inclusion of people with disabilities in Europe. By promoting access to social and economic rights for all, it looked at fostering a sense of ownership of the European Union among its citizens and opens the questions of active European youth citizenship via volunteering.
Protection and empowerment of vulnerable social groups were among the core European values that the international training course promoted, support European cooperation of young citizens and youth organizations on that field.
The target group of the activity were European youth workers and disability rights activists, representing 11 European countries.
The international team of trainers was composed by the following trainers:

The training methods used during the training were interactive and inclusive non-formal education methods. They were designed and implemented in a youth-friendly manner and were looking to equally involve all participants with disabilities in the interactive learning process.
