MeLDS - Mediterranean Leadership Development Seminar

Aims & objectives

The objectives of the training activity were:

- to facilitate the process of increasing the self awareness of the participants
- to give them the space, motivation and tools to develop themselves and their leadership characteristics.
- to make them aware of various social issues in the Mediterranean countries and the leadership needed to address them.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The Mediterranean Leadership Seminar attracted many participant 80 from Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Tunisia.

Training methods used & main activities

The training activity was based on non formal education methods.

- personal reflection
- group discussions
- board games
- simulations
- collective intelligence sessions

Outcomes of the activity

The seminar as a whole was successful and we can assume this by taking into account the motivation of the participants in the end. But most of all by the ideas for the creation of different project with societal impact.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

As part of the trainers team I was responsible for building the sessions, and facilitate their implementation.

I worked on this training for 4 days as a full time trainer.
