“Looking at your country from a different perspective”

Aims & objectives

1. To increase the level of awareness of youngsters about the effects of emigrationin participating countries groups, through 6 educational and personal developing tools, in order to enable 42 youngsters, 14-18 y.o., during the exchange, to act as global responsible multipliers back in their communities.
2. To develop a proactive and tolerant attitude during YE among 14-18 y.o. youngsters, empowering them to increase the level of self confidence, communication, creativity, diversity, through 1 day local event self organized, that involve public speaking, storytelling, theater, role-playing.
3. During 6 days of exchange, to empower 42 youngsters with theater, storytelling, art methods, in order to improve perspective about potential of their communities and usage of the resourcesthat each national group have in their country, and creating 1 online platform used as a support for all the methods and materials collected.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The goal of the project is to raise awareness of the youngsters 14-18 y.o. from LV, RO, AT, TR, UA, BG about effects of the emigration and the opportunities from their home country. The problem that the project is addressing is that so many teenagers are affected by massive migration from their countries, the unbalanced lifestyle in their communities and they lose interest in resources/opportunities that they still have available in their country.Thisproject activate teenagers to make a change in their surroundings, encourage the youth from their communities to look and involve in creating and accessing opportunities around them, by developing specific competences, being involved in NGO, social actions or building cooperation for addressing to social and global issues.Theframe of this project become more clear following a YE, about migration, that took place in Tunisia in 2019, together with participants from 9 countries from 3 continents Russia, Palestine, Armenia, Austria, Tunisia, Latvia, Romania, Norway, Turkey.

Outcomes of the activity

The purpose of our YE that is working out the problem about the unawareness of youth about the effects of migration and professional resources that they still have available in their country
Trough this are improving the level competences relevance to the labor market and their contribution to build up social cohesion, especially multiplying opportunities for learning and by strengthening cooperation between education and training and the field of work.
