Aims & objectives

Aim:
Enhancing the quality of the Youthpass process within the EVS experience.

Objectives:
- To understand the concept of EVS as an educational programme and to discover the philosophy behind Youthpass.
- To explore the dimension of learning within EVS project and to connect it with non formal/informal and self-directed learning
- To develop competences on facilitating the learning process and on the self-assessment of learning outcomes in EVS
- To develop competences on the implementation of the Youthpass as a process, learning how to use it as tool for learning recognition
- To provide a clear understanding of the key competence within Youthpass and ability to facilitate recognition of these competences.
- To reflect on the role of the Youthpass support person regarding the learning of the EVS volunteer

EVS mentors, coordinator and all the people involved in the learning process of EVS

Countries involved: Spain, Ireland, UK, Poland, Germany, France and Hungary

Outcomes of the activity

I was a full-time trainer taking part to the design, implementation and evaluation of the whole training course.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

As a results of the whole training, the participant’s organisations have benefit of arising the professional competences of their staff in the role of a mentor: they are now able to coordinate or support EVS projects with higher quality regarding the learning impact on participants and learning outcomes analysis and, not less important, they are really motivated on doing it.

I worked on this training for 4 days as a full time trainer.
