Learning to Learn - training for pilot project organisers

The training activity took place
in “Kernaves bajoryne”, Lithuania
organised by LIJNA & UNIQUE network
May 2009

Aims & objectives

Main aims and objectives were to explore the world of learning to learn competence; to bring reality into the discussions; to enable participants to identify possibilities to include learning to learn methodologies and approaches into their own projects.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Organisers of international pilot projects from several countries in Europe. Trainers team from Lithuania and France.

Training methods used & main activities

Exponentially intricate learning-to-learn methods devised also by the participants themselves. Methods used were based on informal and non-formal learning principles with a whole range of hands-on, in-your-face activities which permitted full-on reflection and mutual clarification. Tasks were to run and evaluate sessions as agreed together with team colleagues.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants went on to utilise learning to learn approaches in a vast array of projects throughout Europe.
