Aims & objectives

The training course was aimed to increase the quality of EVS projects through developing capacities of EVS coordinators and mentors by equipping them with vital methods and tools to support and guide volunteers towards the development of competences for future employment.

Youth workers, mentors of EVS volunteers

12 partner organizations from EU and EECA

Training methods used & main activities

We've done lots of activities:
Getting to know each other and icebreakers, group building methods, interactive theoretical inputs, role plays, practice of coaching, counselling and mentoring, etc.

Outcomes of the activity

- Contributed to the improved quality of EVS projects;
- Equipped the participants with a wide variety of means, instruments and ways for supporting volunteers' growth and development process that can be applied on a regular basis in their organizations;
- Created the network of EVS Receiving organizations for further self-support and cooperation in the field of EVS and beyond;
- Ensured higher employability of ex-EVS volunteers due to support and learning acquired in the course of EVS.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Developing and delivering the programme as trainer and expert on employability and volunteering, preparing narrative report

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
