TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

The mobility was included within a Youth Participation Activity (KA1). There are three mobilities in total and this was the second one. The topic of the project was Democracy and the European Union.
With the participation of 3 countries inside the European Union and 3 countries Outside the EU, participants were able to reflect about democracy from different points of view taking into consideration opinions, backgrounds and expertises from other perspectives.
The mobility wasan opportunity to continue creating and create new synergies between people in and out of the EU.
4 participants per country from:
- Lebanon
- Albania
- Ukraine
- Spain
- Italy
- Poland
Young people from 18 to 29 years old. None at risk of social exclusion.
Non formal-education methods during these activity days was used. The specific methods used were:
- Team building
- Discussions & debates
- Works in small groups
- Research
- Focus groups
- Presentations
The training activity was useful to:
- Know and go deeper the institutions of the EU.
- Understand how the decision-making process is makin in the Parliament
- Know, understand and go deeper on how the laws/regulations are created under the framework of the European Union
- Meet the European Youth Dialogue Program and more about the Spanish Presidency
- Make a consultation about the EYG.
As co-organiser of this mobility, I was in charge of:
- Arrange the accommodation (venue).
- Arrange the schedulef or facilitation
- Implement the activities
- Monitoring the activities and the participants' learning process
- Be support to the participants during their time in Madrid.
- Organise cultural activities.
- Be the link between the participants and the venue
- Evaluate the training and the participants' learning process
