Inclusion cocktail

The training activity took place
in Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia
organised by MKC Slovenj Gradec
06.-15.10.2013.

Aims & objectives

Main aim of the training course is to develop skills and knowledge for youth leaders and trainers, who are involved in a work with social risk group youth, using non-formal methodology, based on social inclusion.
Increase awareness about human rights and social inclusion principles.
To analyze situation on inclusion in European context.
Sharing experience and develop knowledge about inclusion.
Get knows new methods and resources available on COMPAS and ALL TOGETHER.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

There were 32 participants from 9 countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, France, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland). TC was made for youth workers, social workers, youth leaders.

Training methods used & main activities

Various methods used, like different simulation excersises, group work, presentations, discussions etc. Also participants had a chance work in practical way on inclusion topic ( work in school for kids with fewer oportunities). Evaluation and working on next common projects was essential part of this training.

Outcomes of the activity

Training was succesfull. We did a great job to learn from each other. Also some people get to know what means to be excluded or to be with fewer oportunities. Participants really liked the programme flow- from team building to serious theoretical part, simulations, evaluation and the practical work in school.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was make project and was responsible about creating and running whole parts of programme.

I worked on this training for 9 days as a full time trainer.
