Aims & objectives

Participants involved in the project are able to employ coaching and graphic facilitation techniques to empower young people, with a specific focus on youth empowerment, and implement these techniques in follow-up activities.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Youth workers and volunteers who already have some experience in supporting youth learning and empowerment. The TC aimed to provide them with the extra skills that can help them more effectively
realize their vision and mission. Specifically organizing educational activities and supporting youth leadership.

Training methods used & main activities

The programme was built on non-formal education and experiential learning.

Outcomes of the activity

Our ultimate goal was to create the profile of a 2.0 youth worker/educator equipped with multiple tools to develop skills and create a personal path towards implementing these skills and achieving objectives as required by the changing times, society, and emerging youth cultures in the last decade. We aim to cultivate a 2.0 youth worker who can adapt to contextual needs, utilizing facilitation, graphic facilitation, coaching, and mentorship skills to be developed within our project.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.

Testimonial of the reference person

I had the pleasure of working with Petra Papernikova as a trainer during our training activity, and I can genuinely say she was outstanding. Petra was highly professional from start to finish—well prepared, reliable, and fully engaged in every step of the process.

What I appreciated most was the way she related to the group: she created a positive and safe learning atmosphere, treated participants with respect and care, and stayed consistently attentive to group dynamics and individual needs. Petra was not just “delivering sessions”—she truly became part of our team, contributing proactively and supporting the overall flow of the programme with great sensitivity and competence.

Her cooperation with the other two co-trainers was excellent. The teamwork was smooth, balanced, and effective, and Petra played an important role in ensuring the training maintained a high standard throughout. Thanks to her contribution, the objectives were not only achieved, but exceeded.

I would gladly recommend Petra to any organisation looking for a skilled and committed trainer. With Petra, you can trust that the quality of the training will be strong, the process will be well managed, and the results will be meaningful and impactful.
