This is a reference for Bojan Blazhevski
Objectives of the training:
-strengthening critical media literacy: participants will learn to identify and analyse disinformation and promote fact-based discussions with young people.
-developing strategies to strengthen civil society in terms of climate disinformation: methods will be introduced to address populist narratives and their impact on climate policy.
-supporting youth engagement: participants will explore ways to help young people cope with climate disinformation, debunk myths through creative methods and encourage active participation in climate action.
-fostering European exchange and networking: sharing experiences from different countries to develop joint approaches for climate education and combating disinformation.
30 participants from 13 european countries (NGO professionals, trainers, journalists and youth workers) that want to address the topic of climate disinformation. In this training were included participants from France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, Slovakia, Turkey, Lithuania and Czechia.
In this training we combined several training methods. We had three workshops, entire day dedicated for open space and chance for participants to share their knowledge and skills, but also a project lab for developing future projects of participants related to the topic of climate change. In the opening and closing session we also used team-building activities, icebrakers and energizers, including quizes and games.
This training managed to create a network of participants that are interested in tackling climate disinformation. Through the organized workshop, participants were able to gain knowledge about what information disorder actually means and how to tackle the disinformation campaigns. They were able to gain skills how to tackle disinformation as fact-checkers, how to organize online quizes, but also to learn more about the fact-checking organizations that exist in Europe.

In this training I was included as a full-time trainer. I organized two workshops "How to identify, understand and counter disinformation" and "Climate Myths: Tools, Solutions and Methods". Also, as a trainer I was included in the Open Space organized during one of the training days, but also in the opening and closing sessions of the training.
