Aims & objectives

EXIT 2.0 is a training course that aims to introduce, practice and discover innovative experiential learning methods under the framework of universal design.
The objectives are to:
• Discover innovative educational methods in the field of experiential learning for inclusion, exploring intersections of facilitation of experiential learning activities through outdoor activities, body work and creative methods etc.
• Develop the competencies of the participants based on the role of facilitator of experiential learning, while exchanging the best educational practices among the participants.
• Train participants on how to create accessible activities for each target group according to the principles of universal design.
• Allow participants to put experiential learning methods into practice through follow-up activities.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

24 participants, plus 2 personal assistance, from: Spain, Hungary, Croatia, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Portugal and Turkey.
They were youth workers, trainers and facilitators actively involved in projects and activities aimed to promote the inclusion of those in social exclusion risk

Training methods used & main activities

Diverse methodologies using experiential learning as a tool for inclusion by practise, forum theatre, sport-based activities, our door activities, co-planning between participants and trainers, sensations workshops, groups dynamics, etc.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants became more conscious about the need of an inclusive approach when designing activities, also acquired knowledge and skills to be able use experiential learning in a more conscious way as a tool for inclusion of those in social exclusion risk.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

As the project manager and member of the trainers team, I had the tasks to plan, implement and evaluate the training activity.
As part of the trainers team my tasks were also to support my co-trainer in the implementation of the programme, and learning process for participants, as individuals but also as part of a group process.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
