Aims & objectives

Aim
The evaluation of achievements, prevention (wherever necessary), exchange of ideas and good practices and the systematic planning of future steps towards further development of the EVS projects and the volunteer experience in general.

Objectives
1) To empower the “informal” volunteers’ network – that is mainly rooted in the “on arrival seminars” – through coexistence, interaction and exchange of experiences so that cooperation between them is increased.
2) To offer a vital space for personal and group reflection with regards to the participants as volunteers and as “persons” so that they can accommodate their experience so far, realize their current situation and project themselves in the future.
3) To integrally evaluate participants’ EVS projects towards prevention and resolution (where needed) of conflicts or even crises.
4) To provide participants with space for planning of futures steps and moreover to share and process information related to the triptych Youth – European Union – Mobility accenting this way the meaningfulness of EVS in a person’s further development.
5) To support participants in further practicing the use of Greek language.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

This was an Evaluation Meeting, part of the EVS Training and Evaluation Cycle, for EVS Volunteers in Greece and Cyprus.

2) World Café (e.g. for exchanging experience-based solutions to challenges faced during EVS).
3) Self-reflection time (e.g. for self-assesing one's personal learning achievements during the EVS period and connecting them with Youthpass).
4) Theatre plays (for further practicing Greek language).
5) Workshop on Multiple Intelligences (for better understanding one's personal learning style).

Outcomes of the activity
