Aims & objectives

Aim of the activity was to provide conditions for a international cross-sectorial dialogue on issues of empowerment of young women in rural areas, to widen and strengthen international network of professionals working with the topic, and to contribute to production of new knowledge about conditions and obstacles of facilitation of women entrepreneurs.
The training adressed the needs for comparison and evaluation of policies, methods and outcomes of empowerment of women entrepreneurs, in local, national and European context.
The goals of the organizations were met by creating a co-learning environment open for experience exchange, reflections and analysis, where different backgrounds of the participants contributed to a multidimensional perspective on the issue of empowerment and facilitation.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The target group of the activity were professionals working with women empowerment on local and national levels as well as women entrepreneurs themselves.
The project team consisted of representatives from partner organizations from 3 countries: Sweden, Spain and Turkey; each partner organization was represented by a contact person and a scientific supervisor. In addition, to each activity a group of experts from each country was invited to participate.

Outcomes of the activity

Among the outcomes of the activity are:
- widened professional network of related organizations,
- deeper knowledge about conditions, methods, obstacles and possibilities of facilitation,
- bigger capacity of involved organizations, to facilitate and promote entrepreneurship for young women in rural areas,
- wider networks and deeper knowledge about possibilities for international work, of women entrepreneurs in involvedorganizations themselves.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My role was general coordination of the project, planning and alignment of activities in accordance to the project objectives, facilitation and stimulation of knowledge exchange between the participants of the activities, design of the program in order to reach the synergies of collaboration on local, regional and international levels, managing the connections between this and other activities in the project, communication and change management as well as documentation and report to the NA.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
