Aims & objectives

It aimed to provide tools for intervention using Theatre and non-formal education.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The project empowered young people (12 – 16 years old) from some classes of European School, abowe all from Bruxelles, Alicante, Verese (Belgium, Spain, Italy and other countries). The project actively involved also some disadvantage young people.

Training methods used & main activities

We aimed to put into place measures that will give people the opportunity to know a different way about education, understanding, creation, contact with Nature, perception of the world. We proposed many practices of theatre, story telling, work in the Nature, craftsmanship, games, martial arts, different trainings, and self coordination about the house cleaning.

Outcomes of the activity

Initially, participants were disoriented and did not know how to behave well. In the following days they have participated in activities with greater safety. Furthermore, single individuals were organized around the group work. We noticed that participants have understood well the values ​​that we proposed during the activities: collaboration, courage, understanding and listening of the others, enthusiasm.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

The team was composed of 3 trainers: Paola Calogero, Marco Adda, Giulio Ferretto. I was involved also as organiser of the project.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
