European Dream

Aims & objectives

The project aimed to enhance the youth understanding of migration by analyzing recent European migration patterns, reviewing the existing analytical evidence on the economic and social costs and benefits of migration and remittances for sending countries and evaluating possible interlinks between various policy domains including migration.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

30 young people and youth workers from 10 countries, from the EU and Eastern Europe and Caucasus.

Training methods used & main activities

To achieve the principal goals of European dream we used different activities such as: group discussion/presentations, special-cases, intercultural evenings, team-building activities, role-plays and other creative activities initiated by the participants.

Outcomes of the activity

The main outcomes of the project were the development of ideas of peace, learning, promoting solidarity and tolerance without any discrimination by working together in international groups, stimulating a positive understanding of diversities, and developing awareness about international migration issues and also fights against xenophobia.
