ESK On Arrival Training

Aims & objectives

The goal is to encourage and empower 20 young people from different backgrounds and cultures to have a enriching living and learning experience here in Germany. Most of them stay for 10-12 months and are usually since 6-10 weeks in their hosting organizations.

We had participants of 12 nations on the seminar.

Plenary and Group work
Workshops (partly moderated, partly self directed and simply accompanied by one of us)
Outdoor- and Indoor Team-bounds

Outcomes of the activity

The group grew together and felt very much encouraged to go on with their volunteering services here in Germany.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I am as a Senior Leader responsible for the development, role out and evaluation of this, such as 3-4 other ESK-trainings per year. We work in a team of 3 (in this case 1 junior trainer, 1 trainee and me)

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
