Employment & Volunteer-ship mobility exchange 2014

Aims & objectives

The aim of the project is to bring young people between the age of 18-30 together to learn about improving their working skills and opportunities. The mobility exchange will bring together young people with leaders from the employment, association, and government sector to learn about their experiences in the current job market and how to improve your skill levels for future employment.

Besides the lectures, the participants will break into WorkingGroups and participate in various events and individual projects to learn how to cooperate in a unit to accomplish goals and tasks. There are proposed in advance of the implementation of the project, but we assume during the first days of the program, we can create new WorkingGroups which fits the specif interest of the participants. The current WorkingGroups are; Photo/Video, Music/Dance, and Networking/Initiatives.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The project links six participants from seven partners countries which include; Denmark (Ishøj Ungdomsskole), Estonia (Battle IT), Lithuania (UAB Matthew Stannford), Portugal (H2o), Slovenia (DRMIC), Spain (Atrendia) and Sweden (Bamboo Bikes).

Training methods used & main activities

non formal education tools, experiencial learning and lectures.

Outcomes of the activity

Better understanding of the current market, inspiration and motivation for entrepreneurship, intercultural experience.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

As a trainer/facilitator, I was responsible to make sure the well-being of the group, to provide daily activities and following of the programme.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
