The non-formal education methods will, above all, include group and individual work, team building activities and practical workshops raising skills around sewing, upcycling and entrepreneurship.

Outcomes of the activity

ACTIVITIES:

The activities will be based on three pillars:
entrepreneurship, ecology, sewing and handcrafting.

The first part of the training is dedicated to learning about entrepreneurship, eco-entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, sewing, handcrafting and learning how to make sewing projects from old materials and clothes.

The second part of the training would be dedicated to developing ideas and creating the final eco-products and business plans for eco-enterprises.

Daily there would be at least 6 hours of workshops and time for reflection (every day we will start workshops at 9:30 and finish around 19 o’clock, with two coffee breaks and a lunch break).

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

During the Ecopreneurs 2.0 Training Course, my role within the trainers' team was multifaceted and integral to the successful delivery of the program. As a full-time trainer, my responsibilities encompassed several key areas:

1) Workshop Facilitation: I led workshops focused on entrepreneurship, eco-entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment, employing a non-formal educational approach to engage participants actively. These workshops aimed to equip youth workers with the necessary skills and knowledge to support young people in developing their competencies and increasing their employability.

2) Skill Development: I conducted practical sessions on sewing, handcrafting, and upcycling, guiding participants through the process of creating eco-friendly products from old textiles and materials. These hands-on activities fostered creativity, environmental consciousness, and entrepreneurial thinking among the participants.

3) Mentoring and Guidance: I provided individual and group mentorship to participants, offering support in refining their project ideas, developing business plans, and preparing for follow-up activities. Through personalized guidance, I helped participants translate their learning into actionable strategies for implementing eco-entrepreneurial initiatives in their communities.

4) Project Management: I collaborated closely with the project team to ensure the smooth coordination and execution of the training course. This involved logistical planning, scheduling workshops, coordinating resources, and overseeing the overall delivery of the program in alignment with the project objectives and timeline.

5) Evaluation and Feedback: I actively participated in the evaluation process, gathering feedback from participants, assessing the effectiveness of the training activities, and identifying areas for improvement. By soliciting input from participants, I contributed to the continuous enhancement of the training methodology and content.

My role as a full-time trainer in the Ecopreneurs 2.0 Training Course involved facilitating experiential learning, empowering youth workers, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainable practices in entrepreneurship and environmental conservation. Through collaborative teamwork and dedicated mentorship, I contributed to the realization of the project's goals and objectives, leaving a lasting impact on both participants and communities.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
