Aims & objectives

“Civil Stage” is a multi-phased educational
project that aims to use performative arts in
youth work based on the pedagogic principles
of human rights education.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

We had 25 participants from 10 NGOs from all over Europe and beyond. Mostly youth workers in relation to human rights in some way.

Training methods used & main activities

We divided the training into 4 blocks: facilitation, improv, HRE and forum theatre - all very interactive, with many activities (discussions, games, where do i stand exercises, experiental learning).

Outcomes of the activity

The participants are currently implementing the knowledge back in their NGOs - we'll have an evaluation seminar in April 2020 to track the results and final feedback.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was responsible for the facilitation block - however I delivered sessions at the improv part and other days as well.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.

Testimonial of the reference person

Based on previous experience, it was great to work with Csenge again. She innovated the sessions where necessary and was flexible to adjust
