Aims & objectives

- To empower and train youth workers how to deal with cultural diversity.
- To support youth workers to use cultural diversity as a tool to discover identity.
- To encourage youth workers to work with concrete aspects of cultural diversity and integration of it in youth work.
- To foster future international projects and collaborations

27 youth workers and leaders coming from Slovenia, Sweden, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Cyprus, Poland

Training methods used & main activities

Specific feature of the training was that it consist of three parallel working groups working on the same topic (Intercultural learning and cultural identity) by using different educational tools and approached according to trainers competences and background. Participants were be able to benefit from one of it and in common sessions sharing, evaluating and discussing their experiences.

Outcomes of the activity

5 different educational tools around intercultural learning developed and tested by participants divided into small groups
5 different project ideas (mainly youth exchanges and youth ) planned by participants

Trainer and programme designer. Responsible of one of the 3 working groups.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
