The training course "Bullying around us" aim was to help youth Identify and Prevent Bullying. NGO ”Institute for Nonviolent Communication” works on this topic already for 5 years, however, we still face a lack of skills and knowledge to identify bullying around us. Training courses empowered youth to take an action.
25 youth has participated in each Training course from Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
The training was based on non-formal education principles and approaches. The training used methods that encouraged cooperative learning, holistic learning, and learner-centered approaches. As well as role-plays and group building activities were used.
As a result of the training, the participants created the school club ImpACT in the school, which organized a social campaign, which aimed to raise various social problems and to remind, ponder and give the right direction to the students of the school to prevent bullying.
Questions tailored to different social problems were posted on the school walls, which students read for several weeks. The questions sparked a discussion among schoolchildren on a variety of topics.
At the end of the campaign, the members of the club posted the answers to the questions.
The social activity organized by the club turned out to be very interesting and effective.

I was responsible for facilitating specific sessions during the whole duration and also to conduct training modules during the training course.
