The seminar was based on the principles of non-formal education. The program includes a mix of plenary sessions, workshops, simulation games, sharing of best practices and field visits. Active participation and learner-centred approaches are central to the flow of the activity.
Participants gained insights into the importance of financial education through theoretical and practical outputs from experts in the field and peer learning. They were also able to participate in some pedagogical sessions showing how to teach the topic to young people.
Monia Izabela Wisniewska was the only facilitator during the event. With the support of the Turkish National Agency team, she was responsible for the design of the seminar content, its implementation, communication with the keynote speakers and the final report. The NA team took responsibility for the logistical arrangements and the identification of potential keynote speakers. Y@W partnership did the quality check, the welcoming speech and the evaluation methodology.
Monia was a hardworking and genuine facilitator who was easy to work with.
