Beyond Visible

Aims & objectives

“Beyond visible” is a Training course with the aim of awaken the senses, raise self-awareness and body awareness, encourage non-verbal language and increase empathy. We will use the Sensory Labyrinth Theatre method to create a deep connection with self developing trust to others. This practice will lead to reflections on society and the values of an ideal society. The training is based on non-formal education, artistic, theatrical and meditative techniques.

The Training Course has the following objectives:
- Introduce the sensory labyrinth theatre method as a tool to create community
- Increase self-awareness through body-mind connection and sensory awareness.
- Increase empathy and non-verbal communication skills.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Target group youth workers (educators, teachers, youth leaders) coming from following coungtries: Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Germany, Bulgaria, Italy,

Training methods used & main activities

Mindfulness, embodiment, movement, drama, sensory labyrinth theatre, reflection activities, nature based activities.

Outcomes of the activity

Higher emotional and body awareness.
