ATOQ - Advanced Training on Quality in Youth Exchanges

The training activity took place
in Various countries in Europe
organised by National Agencies of Erasmus+ Programme
One week

Aims & objectives

This training encourages the participants to
- critically reflect upon their previous international youth exchange experience(s) and their impact on young people, organisations and wider community
- increase the understanding of different quality aspects of youth exchanges with Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme
- experience a non-formal learning process and understand how to support young people’s learning in a project
-improve their project management competences in order to better organise the different phases of a youth exchange project.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Up to 30 participants from various countries in Europe.

Training methods used & main activities

• Workshops on different quality aspects such as: active participation of young people, intercultural learning, programme design, impact and dissemination
• Activities to facilitate non-formal learning processes, to support participants in their reflection on learning and foster group dynamics
• Group work to support the reflection on previous youth exchange experiences and produce recommendations to improve the quality of future projects

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Trainer (programme design, delivering and evaluation the training, facilitating the YOUTHPASS process etc)

I worked on this training for 2-3 trainings per year, since 2003 days as a full time trainer.
