Active Citizens of Europe

Aims & objectives

The main subjects of this training course was the Active citizenship and European Citizenship. We helped participants to deepen participant’s knowledge, skills on European awareness, European citizenship, identity and cultural differences and the common values of being European Citizen.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

20 Youth leaders and youth workers from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Italy, Ukraine, Armenia, Hungary, Greece, Moldova.

Training methods used & main activities

Non formal education, icebreakers, study visits to local NGO's, simulation games.

Outcomes of the activity

The TC gave to participants the awareness of European sense of belonging and went deeply in their identity and what are the common European values. In the evaluation forms participants gave great marks and we had several successful stories after the project.
