Aims & objectives

The training gives NGO workers, teachers and youth leaders an open space:
* for sharing the experience and exchanging the best cases about civic, citizenship and European citizenship education
* for elaborating how government tries to bridge young individuals and civic society
* for identifying the most effective methods of civic education for mobilization of local communities to solve local issues
* for practising some innovative methods (including different tools and resources) of civic education

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

24 participants ( 3 per each country from EU and EECA) NGO workers, teachers and youth leaders from organizations focusing on active civic education.

Training methods used & main activities

Non-formal learning methods - both individual and group methods, taking into consideration participants’ learning needs (group work, debates and discussions, simulations and role-plays, open space methodology, reflection, local community and environment as a tool, etc.)

Outcomes of the activity

At the end of TC A.C.E. participants have knowledge about concept of Active Civic Education and develop skills in civic engagement of youth. Diring the project participants learn how to develop and implement flash-mob in the city and how to be more active in local level.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

In pair wiht co-trainer Vitalie Cirhana we distribute all activities of TC, so i was responsable for: getting to know each other activities, teambuilding activities, youthpass pizza, common understanding of Active Citizenship, Simulation Game of community meeting, help in organising open space activity and local action in the city.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
