This booklet is a collection of non-formal education methods developed during the (YOU)tful Balance YE. It offers practical tools for working with young people on topics such as mental health, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and wellbeing.

Aims of the tool

The purpose of this booklet is to:

Share practical methods of non-formal education that promote wellbeing, mindfulness, and emotional awareness among young people.

Support youth workers and facilitators in designing engaging and meaningful workshops for Erasmus+ projects and local activities.

Encourage reflection and dialogue on topics such as mental health, resilience, and interpersonal relationships.

Provide inspiration and ready-to-use tools for creating safe, inclusive, and empowering learning spaces.

Contribute to the exchange of good practices within the Erasmus+ and SALTO Youth community.

Description of the tool

The YOUthful Balance booklet is a collection of non-formal education tools designed to support young people in exploring wellbeing, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and resilience. The methods combine creative expression, body-based learning, outdoor activities, and reflection exercises, making them adaptable to different group sizes and contexts.
