Simulation Exercise, Manual, Report
A participant-created booklet from the LISTEN Youth Exchange, featuring non-formal education tools and activities designed to develop communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills among young people.
To share the practical tools, methods, and learning outcomes developed by youth during the LISTEN Youth Exchange, enabling others to replicate and adapt these activities to improve communication skills in diverse settings.
The LISTEN – Communication Booklet was co-created by 35 young people from seven countries during a 10-day Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Leporano, Italy. The project aimed to address the communication needs of young people, particularly those with fewer opportunities, by combining structured workshops, creative challenges, and intercultural activities.
This booklet compiles the key non-formal education tools implemented during the exchange, from icebreakers and trust-building games to debates, digital literacy sessions, and public engagement activities. Each activity is presented with brief and clear facilitation guidelines, including objectives, group size, materials, timing, and step-by-step instructions.
The result is both a record of the participants’ learning journey and a practical resource for youth workers, educators, and community leaders seeking to develop communication, teamwork, conflict management, and cultural awareness in their groups.
