Virtual Leap is an innovative Erasmus+ project that bridges the gap between traditional youth work and cutting-edge technology. Through immersive VR sports experiences, we're creating new pathways for cross-cultural dialogue and engagement.

Aims of the tool

The Project Goals:

- Enhance youth engagement
- Promote digital literacy
- Foster international cooperation

The Project addresses the following topics:
- Digital youth work
- Digital content and pedagogical practices
- Digital transformation planning and implementation

Description of the tool

Our project integrates sports and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies to revolutionise youth work, promoting social inclusion, physical activity. Utilising Virtual Reality (VR) sports experiences in Lithuania, Estonia and Turkiye, we offer unique, inclusive, and engaging learning opportunities that enhance the well-being and social inclusion of youth.

As a result of the Virtual Leap project, we have developed three ethnosports games using virtual reality technology. These games connect cultural heritage, traditional and digital technology:
- The Turkish ethnic Archery VR game.
- The Lithuanian ethno Stick Pulling VR game.
- The Estonian ethnic Kiiking VR game.
