Labor orientation and career counselling is
especially important for migrant young people,
because they arrive to new countries where
sometimes they don’t have a support network,
which is important for getting a job
in the Mediterranean countries.

Aims of the tool

Through career guidance, young people can discover what are their passions, skills, competences and the best
professional field for them; but there are young
people not motivated with the traditional ways
of job orientation.

Description of the tool

This is a compilation of good
practices and innovative methodologies on
how to improve the career orientation of young
migrants and consequently their employability,
using gamification techniques.
The UpGrad_Me 2.0 Career Guidance Handbook
will allow professionals dealing with youth
to count with the most accurate supporting and
inspiring resources in order to bring a better
career orientation and improve their employability
through gamification.
