Free online platform with five units, 5 videos, 10 self-paced modules—budgeting, credit, investment, entrepreneurship and EU adaptation—giving migrant & refugee women the skills and certificate needed for real financial empowerment.

Aims of the tool

-Deliver free, multilingual financial-literacy training (EN + ES, IT, FR, ET).

-Build core skills: budgeting, credit, investment, entrepreneurship, EU rights.

-Offer a flexible, self-paced pathway ending in a Certificate of Accomplishment.

-Strengthen economic independence and social inclusion of migrant & refugee women across Europe.

Description of the tool

The FEW online platform (https://financiallyempoweredwomen.eu/platform/) is the hub of our Financially Empowered Women project. Hosted on Moodle, it merges interactive content, quizzes and community support in five scaffolded modules:

Foundations of Financial Literacy – key terms, budgeting, saving.

Credit & Personal Finance – credit management and digital banking tools.

Investments & Risk Management – basics of investing plus insurance know-how.

Entrepreneurship & Economic Independence – start-up mindset and income diversification.

Adapting Financially in the EU – rights, duties and cultural adaptation of money habits.

Learners study in their own language (English, Spanish, Italian, French or Estonian) and mark progress via embedded quizzes. Completing every module unlocks an auto-issued Certificate of Accomplishment, a credential that can bolster CVs, job searches or loan applications. Mobile-friendly design and step-by-step navigation ensure the course remains accessible even to beginners in digital skills.
