The ECO4ECO Trainers’ Manual and Toolkit on Newspaper Theatre, created in a project co-funded by Erasmus+, offers creative tools for trainers and youth workers to inspire sustainability and social change, developed by experts from five countries.

Aims of the tool

The Newspaper Theatre Toolkit empowers trainers and youth workers to use creative performances based on real news to foster eco-awareness, leadership, critical thinking, and community dialogue, linking emotional intelligence with sustainability action.

Description of the tool

The ECO4ECO Trainers’ Manual and Toolkit provides a comprehensive guide for educators and youth workers, including:
- Step-by-step instructions on how to organize and facilitate Newspaper Theatre workshops
- Interactive exercises connecting environmental topics with performance art
- Sample workshop scripts and reflection activities
- Tools for leadership and group facilitation
- Guidelines on inclusivity and engaging youth with fewer opportunities
- Evaluation templates to measure impact and learning outcomes
