A practical toolkit helping young people and youth workers boost digital eco-activism skills through research, case studies, quizzes, video lessons, tutorials and a guide on digital safety and online climate advocacy.
To strengthen young people’s and youth workers’ climate literacy, digital advocacy competences and safe online activism practices, enabling them to design, evaluate and promote impactful eco-activism initiatives.
This toolkit provides youth workers and young people with a complete learning package on climate activism in the digital sphere. It develops core competences such as critical media literacy, fact-checking, online campaigning, community organising and safe, responsible advocacy.
Learning components include:
-Research reports and articles on climate change at local, national and EU level
-Case studies of successful youth-led eco-activism campaigns
-Interactive quizzes on sustainable lifestyles, climate justice and climate change
-20 video lessons + 5 video tutorials on digital activism, climate literacy, online safety and counter-disinformation
-A PDF Guide on Digital Safety & Accountability
-A Global Eco-Activist Community Database supporting networking and collective action
