The participants of "Outdoor Gives More" training course designed their own outdoor activities and games to support inclusion of disadvantaged youth. The Toolbox contains these activities and games.

Aims of the tool

-Integration of disadvantaged youth
-Encouraging cooperation, social skills, and empathy. Exposing each other's individuality, learning how to be part of society.
-Encouraging teamwork and physical activity
-Connecting people
-Fostering emotional awareness and reduce stigma around mental health
-Building trust and a sense of emotional safety among participants
-Promoting inclusion and understanding through shared movement and story telling
-Developing basic teamwork and reflective listening skills
-Promoting creativity
-Promoting spending time in the nature

Description of the tool

The "Toolbox" includes new outdoor activities for the inclusion of disadvantaged young people. By participating in the activities from the toolbox, young people and youth workers are expected to achieve the following learning outcomes:
-Greater understanding of inclusion, diversity, and the value of different perspectives
-Empowerment of disadvantaged youth by creating spaces where they feel seen, heard, and valued
-Reduction in social stigma and discrimination, especially around mental health issues
-Increased empathy, emotional awareness, and the ability to express feelings constructively
-Improved ability to build trust and develop respectful relationships
-Development of creative thinking and problem-solving abilities through open-ended outdoor tasks
-Promotion of spending time in nature as a source of mental and physical well-being
-Encouragement of healthy lifestyles and physical activity
