This toolkit presents 8 cross-sectoral practices for competence-based personal development to empower females. They cover the VIeW project topics like: inclusion, gender equality, women empowerement, digital skills and environmental protection.

Aims of the tool

The Toolkit aims to empower youth workers, educators, and community leaders with practical, inclusive, and gender-sensitive methods to engage young people—particularly young women—in community development, leadership, and sustainability.

Its main aims are to:

Promote gender equality and inclusion by showcasing tested approaches that support the active participation of young women, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds.
Encourage youth engagement through creative, non-formal learning methods such as digital storytelling, civic simulations, and green entrepreneurship challenges.
Facilitate the transfer of good practices among partners and beyond, by documenting adaptable activities and tools used successfully in local contexts.
Support capacity-building for youth workers and educators through easy-to-use resources, reflective exercises, and guidelines for inclusive facilitation.
Foster cross-sector collaboration by highlighting how schools, NGOs, local authorities, and informal youth groups can work together to address social and environmental challenges.

Description of the tool

The Toolkit is a living resource—open-access, multilingual, and adaptable—that reflects the diverse experiences and shared values of the VIeW partnership, while inspiring continued innovation in youth work across Europe.
