Aims of the tool
The guidebook aims to help NGO leaders and youth workers build more sustainable and regenerative organisations by sharing real-life experience, practical tools, and lessons learned through collaboration. It encourages organisations to move beyond survival mode, reflect on their practices, strengthen long-term resilience, and create positive impact for people, communities, and the environment. The guide also aims to clarify the meaning of sustainability, introduce regenerative thinking, and offer adaptable methods (like study visits and holistic reflection) that organisations can apply in their own context.
Description of the tool
The “Sustainable Future of Organisations” guidebook is a practical learning resource designed to help NGO leaders and youth workers understand and improve how their organisations function by moving from survival-based practices toward sustainable and regenerative models. Through real-life case studies, reflection tools, peer-learning methods, and action-oriented exercises, it supports learners in developing a clearer organisational vision, stronger decision-making, a healthier team culture, and long-term thinking. The main learning outcomes include understanding organisational sustainability concepts, identifying challenges and patterns, applying self-assessment and reflection methods, and turning insights into concrete actions that strengthen resilience, well-being, and positive social and environmental impact.
