This toolkit provides youth workers with practical tools and methods from Sensorial Theatre, Social Theatre and Ludo Pedagogy to explore the 4 dimensions of sustainability: social, ecological, economical and cultural sustainability.

Aims of the tool

The "Sustainability on Stage 2.0" project aims at equipping youth workers with a deeper understanding of sustainability while empowering them with the skills to use theatre as a powerful tool for environmental and social changes.

This toolkit is designed with the following core objectives:
1. Developing ecological awareness and understanding among youth workers.
2. Providing innovative, theatre-based approaches to youth work that incorporate sustainable practices.
3. Strengthening the capacity of youth workers to act as facilitators and advocates for sustainability.
4. Enabling participants to inspire young people and their communities toward ecological and social change.

Description of the tool

This toolkit was developed in the frame of the project "Sustainability on Stage 2.0", a training course for youth workers that took place in September 2024 in Asturias, Spain.

The toolkit focuses on the 4 dimensions of sustainability: social, ecological, economical and cultural sustainability. Through theatre and other creative methods, participants can connect with nature, raise awareness of environmental issues, and engage their communities in transformative ways.
