Aims of the tool

Safely Outdoor was a training designed for professionals and volunteers working with children and young people in nature-based settings. It aimed to strengthen both practical safety skills and educational awareness – because great outdoor learning requires
both courage and care. From this tool you can read more about the training itself but also learn important first aid skills based on the knowledge of German Red Cross.

Description of the tool

From this tool you can read the main goals and acitivities implemented during the Safely Outdoor training course. In addition you can also learn about outdoor first aid: transport techniques for outdoor settings, treating wounds, paediatric emergencies, staying well in outdoor settings and how to act if got lost in the wild.
