Re-Wild - Guide for Youth Workers
A practical nature connection Guide, developed for youth workers, containing 26 non-formal methods designed to assist professionals to connect Youth to Nature.
Aims of the tool
The main aim of this tool is to foster Nature Connection which has three pillars:
* Connection to Self
* Connection to other people and community
* Connection to the living world including non-human beings
Description of the tool
A practical Guide for connecting to Nature, useful for any organization or youth worker that wishes to integrate nature connection into youth activities.
The 26 methods contained within are developed to be ready-for use by any youth worker no matter their level of experience.
Each method has been field-tested with youth from Romania, Croatia and Latvia in the process of creating the guide.
The outcomes of these methods are and increased sense of nature connection observes though one or more of these three pillars:
* Increased connection to Self
* Increased connection to other people and community
* Increased connection to the living world including non-human beings
