A training model using stop motion animation and storytelling to foster persistence and resilience in youth. Includes toolkits, digital resources, and a Trainer’s Edition booklet for youth workers.
The main aim of this tool is to enhance the persistence, resilience, and self-motivation of young people through creative, non-formal learning experiences. By combining storytelling techniques with stop motion animation, the tool provides youth with engaging and reflective methods to explore personal challenges, set goals, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
In parallel, the tool empowers youth workers, educators, and trainers by offering a structured methodology, practical resources, and step-by-step guidance to implement these activities effectively in their own contexts. It encourages inclusive, learner-centered approaches and promotes the development of soft skills, such as teamwork, communication, creativity, and emotional intelligence.
The tool also aims to:

"A Story of Persistence and Success" is a comprehensive learning tool that combines non-formal education methods with creative digital storytelling to build persistence, resilience, and personal agency among young people. At its core is an engaging stop motion animation training course, where participants explore personal challenges, express their stories, and work collaboratively to transform ideas into animated videos.
This tool is built upon evidence-based practices and includes the following components:
• Good Practices Booklet – a collection of successful strategies and methods for fostering persistence among youth.
• Stop Motion Animation Training Content – a step-by-step methodology for engaging youth in animation as a form of personal reflection and skill development.
• Trainer’s Edition – a practical guide for youth workers with ready-made activities, facilitation tips, and tools to support the full training cycle.
• Digital Resources – easily accessible materials and assessment tools for both in-person and online learning environments.
The learning process is designed to be creative, inclusive, and empowering. Young participants are encouraged to share their personal experiences, reflect on setbacks and achievements, and build emotional and social skills through teamwork and artistic expression.
