No Da Igual Diary is an interactive tool designed for young changemakers who want to work on gender equality and social transformation. It includes reflective exercises, group activities, and structured learning paths to empower youth as agents of change.
The No Da Igual Diary is designed as an interactive and reflective tool to support young people in their journey as agents of change for gender equality. Its main aims are:
Empower Youth as Changemakers – Provide young people with structured guidance to understand and challenge gender inequalities in their communities.
Encourage Reflection and Self-Discovery – Help users explore their personal experiences, biases, and roles in promoting gender equality.
Promote Peer Education – Equip youth with methods to facilitate discussions and workshops on gender-related topics.
Provide Practical Exercises and Activities – Offer interactive tools, such as role-playing, storytelling, and self-assessment, to foster engagement and critical thinking.
Develop Key Skills – Strengthen communication, leadership, empathy, and activism skills necessary for advocating gender equality.
Support Inclusive and Safe Participation – Encourage the creation of inclusive spaces where diverse gender identities and experiences are acknowledged and respected.
Encourage Local and Global Action – Inspire young people to take action within their communities and engage in broader discussions on gender equality at national and international levels.
The No Da Igual Diary is an interactive learning tool designed to empower young people as agents of change in promoting gender equality. It combines self-reflection, structured activities, and peer education methodologies to facilitate a transformative learning experience.
The diary serves as a step-by-step guide that takes participants through a journey of personal exploration, social awareness, and activism, helping them develop critical thinking, leadership, and facilitation skills. It includes:
✔ Personal reflection exercises to help users analyze their own experiences and biases regarding gender.
✔ Interactive group activities designed for peer-to-peer education in formal and non-formal settings.
✔ Role-playing and storytelling exercises to explore power dynamics, discrimination, and gender-based violence.
✔ Practical tools and resources to help young people facilitate workshops and community initiatives.
✔ A structured approach based on three levels: Self (Me), Relationships (Me and You), and Society (Me and the World).
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
By engaging with the No Da Igual Diary, participants will:
