This Erasmus+ toolbox is designed to be used within projects based on sports as a tool, both for young people and youth workers. It provides a variety of activities based on football, athletics and hiking.
Developed activities are designed to be used to enhance personal development of young people, encourage their healthy lifestyle and promote sports as a path for general well - being.
This guidebook is a material result of the project Moving Youth and is based on the concept of Education through Sports.
Objectives:
- introducing ETS as a non-formal educational approach and its development of key competences in terms of personal development and sustainable social transformation;
- using sports as a vehicle to improve social and professional skills of participants and as a tool for personal growth, for improving teamwork habits and leadership skills;
-enhancing language and communication skills of the participants;
- developing intercultural awareness, tolerance and respect between participants.
The guidebook is designed to be used within activities based on sports as a method, whether working with youth or in training with youth workers.
