Aims of the tool

UPENSKILLS project aims to identify essential soft skills for entrepreneurship in order to develop a set of training materials for entrepreneurship courses and programmes.
The tools will help in cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset amongst young people. The project thereby addresses the educational needs of young people, during their progression from high school students to young entrepreneurs.

Description of the tool

A set of tools for entrepreneurship skills training produced as working sheets is intended to be used both by trainers and trainees and is designed in the way that any institution is able to use it in their entrepreneurial skills raising activities for young people, both formal and non-formal curriculum. It provides added value to the output. There are several innovative features of the output:
1) universality - they can be used for young people of different ages and groups (e.g. high school students, younger school children, students of higher education). The tools can be applied for everyone - as well as for vulnerable groups, NEETs, refugees, etc - so very wide range of organisations can use them in their work and promote youth entrepreneurship;
2) usability - easy to integrate in any curriculum, in any educational level;
3) flexible. The structure of this set of tools will be flexible in order to allow it to be used separately as well being assumed as concrete working models and methods.

Toolkit is available in English and seven European languages: Latvian, Spanish, Greek, Polish, Croatian, Italian and Norwegian.
