Ice-breaker, Group Building Activity
The aim of the idea of "theme-masque" character of welcome party is to boost the bonding of a team of YiA event participants.
How it works?
-> You choose a theme for the welcome party and ask all the participants to come prepared with mask, costumes,etc according to this theme (example of themes: animals, superheroes, etc..)
-> The facilitators should be aware that people may forget their "equipment" and have some plan-b solution (body-paintings, cheap mask)
Why it works?
*help people easily make the first contact (easy and funny first lines about the costumes)
*leave their differences and adopt the common ID, first of the theme of the party and later the one of the participant to the event
*easier to remember people, based on their first appereance

This tool is for
-all ages able to organize a welcome event for an action -there is no specific number. For better results it should be great to be approximate 20 people in order to have the chance to play correctly all the icebreakers. -the more the people the better discussion can me made.
