Love Doesn't Hurt
The "Love Doesn't Hurt" handbook was created by the participants of the "Love Doesn't Hurt" project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union
Aims of the tool
Our tool aims to:
- Promote Healthy Relationships: Introduce Tantra principles for fostering respect and well-being and challenging and overcoming patriarchal prejudices.
- Support Personal Development: teach how specific behaviors can positively influence personal growth and chakra development in relationships.
- Raise Awareness of Gender-Based Violence: provide tools for offering emotional support to victims.
- Understand Patriarchal Stereotypes: analyze the needs behind stereotypes regarding sexuality and their relevance today.
- Community Impact: develop practical skills to challenge stereotypes and support LGBTQ+ issues.
Description of the tool
LOVE DOESN'T HURT was designed to educate and empower young people and youth workers from all over the world. By focusing on healthy relationships, dismantling patriarchal stereotypes, and addressing gender-based violence, the handbook aims to foster a more inclusive and respectful society for its readers.
It touches on the following main topics:
1. Toxic behaviours in relationships and how to recognize them.
2. Behaviours through which we can develop our chakras.
3. Understanding and communicating healthy
boundaries.
4. Understanding and supporting victims of domestic and gender-based violence.
